CINDY MOORE - COIN JEWELRY - CHANGING CHANGE

Transform your ordinary coins into extraordinary pieces of jewelry! Prepare to be amazed by what we can create using your pocket change!

In this workshop, you will learn various techniques such as stretching, hammering, cutting, and punching to reshape coins into stunning jewelry items. Whether you wish to commemorate a special occasion with a meaningful piece or showcase your artistic expression, your imagination will lead the way!

We will be using a variety of tools and equipment, including a rolling mill to flatten and widen your coins, a hydraulic press for shaping and forming, assorted hammers for texturing and detailing, as well as a drill press and saws for precise cuts. These tools will help you manipulate your coins in ways you never thought possible.

 Please bring along your silver-colored coins, such as dimes, quarters, and half dollars, or copper pennies minted between 1963 and 1982. No prior experience is required; I will guide you step by step through the process of creating your own unique piece of jewelry. So gather your piggy bank and let’s turn your spare change into something beautiful! Remember, change is not just good—it can also be incredibly artistic!
