I am looking forward to meeting everyone soon. Copper sheet, wire and tubing will be furnished but if you would like to bring any other metals please feel free.
We will be using
18 and 20 gauge round wire
24-22-20 gauge sheet for fabricating
Assorted size copper tubing (1/8” & 3/8” are good size)
I will have a supply of the materials above for you but please feel free to bring more.
Below I have listed some of the tools we will be using. If you have any of these please bring with you. Please label the things you bring so they don’t get mixed up with others. If you do not have any of them don’t worry I will have some for the class to share.
Hammers: cross peen, small ball peen or raw hide mallets
Dapping blocks
Bench pins with anvil

Cindy Moore - Hydraulic Press/Rolling Mill
Cindy Moore is an accomplished instructor in the field of metalsmithing. She has been teaching for over 20 years at John C Campbell Folk School, and other programs including Southeastern Federation, Florida Goldsmiths, Arizona Designer Craftsman, Georgia Goldsmiths, Bead & Button, Bead Fest and others.
Cindy owned and operated a successful gallery for years in Pine Mountain Ga.
She enjoys sharing her knowledge of tools and techniques and has her own line of tools, which she designs and manufactures herself. These include tools to create cuff bracelets, woven jewelry and more. Be sure to ask her about the tools she has to offer that make designing fun.
