Basic Flintknapping will teach fracture mechanics and methodology to understand how to make stone tools. The class will include a Flintknapper starter kit with plenty of flint to get started .
Students will need to come prepared with long pants, gloves, safety glasses, and preferably high top shoes...I’ll supply the rest .

I have been interested in rocks, and artifacts since I was a child, and around the year 2000 a friend gave a flint knapping starter kit. What started out as a hobby turned into a “hobby gone wild” as the challenge was “on”.
I have had some very good world class teachers in this what I call my “art” and I love to share this knowledge
