AUGUST 10-16, 2026 WILDACRES - WEEK 1
GAIL DELUCA - BEAD WEAVING ROPES
Class Name: Bead Weaving Ropes
Class Description:
Explore the possibilities of combining beads and thread in this class that is suitable for all levels. We will be working with tiny glass beads, so patience, good lighting, and good eyesight are the key tools you will need to succeed in this class.
You will learn how to stitch seed beads to create ropes and chains to hang pendants from, or turn into simple necklaces and bracelets.
Class includes tutorials for a baker’s dozen of designs, from simple to more challenging. You will choose which ones to work on in class. You can choose to stitch a few from start to finish, or start and learn all of them!
Enough supplies to keep you busy all week are included in the class, but upgraded supplies will be available for purchase. You are welcome to bring your own stash of supplies.
I will also accept any students wishing to do independent seed bead stitching on their own projects. If you are interested, please reach out directly to me and we can discuss options.
You will need to bring task lighting and magnification if needed. All other tools and supplies will be provided for your use during class.
Class Fee: $100
Estimated Materials Cost: Depending on extra supplies
