Danny Griffin
Instructor for Bench Making
at Wildacres August
Bio
I have been a jewelry maker for almost 25 years and have been modifying or making new tools just about the whole time. I started doing the work bench making class around 2015 after seeing a similar bench in a Lapidary Journal article. The article was written by Tom Benham. I slightly modified the plans to make the bench fold easier. During a Show and Tell Tom was pleased to see that his design had been constructed by so many students.
For the SFMS I have taught classes at William Holland and Wildacres. I was the Education Chair for several years and Wildacres Director more than once. I am currently the Education Co-Chair.
